The 2016 BMW 7 Series offers much more technology than the previous gold standard in the class, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

First look reveals that the German automaker did very little in regard to dramatic changes to the body of the 2016 7 series sedan.  However, at closer glance the new 7 series is curvier and boasts a bolder front end.  To improve aerodynamics, engineers at BMW created an active front grille that opens only when when temperatures under to hood increase. The front head lamps have been extended completely and LED tail lamps have been inserted in the rear tail lamps.

The new 7 series however is unique and loaded with innovations to make the driving experience more luxurious and comfortable than all other automobile in its class.  Innovations like touch less gesture controls allows drivers the ability to answer and make calls with hand motions rather than having to reach for buttons on screen or steering controls.  Accessing the vehicles iDrive controls are also made available by touch screen controls with options such as pinch and expand with hand controls to zoom in and out.  The 7 series navigation system is accessible via voice controls allowing the driver to keep both hands on the steering wheel providing a more safe driving experience.

Inside the all new 7 series, comfort amenities are included for both driver and passengers.  The rear seat in equipped with a removable tablet for adjusting seating adjustments, air conditioning, navigation, information, interior lighting displays and controls, and much more.  The table can also be used for surfing the internet, watching videos, and listening to music.

Two models of the 7 series will be released for 2016; the 740i and the 750i xDrive.  The 740i is powered by a 3.0-liter, turbocharged V6 8 speed automatic transmission producing 320hp.  The 750i xDrive is an all wheel drive 434-liter twin turbo V8 engine producing jaw clenching 440 hp.  However, the best innovation is that the 7 series transmission is linked to the vehicles navigation system to ensure gear selection is always adapted and adjusted to driving conditions.

With a price range of $81,300 to $94,400, the 2016 BMW 7 series is a luxury sedan worth the money and offers the best luxury driving experience currently on the market.
