Get to Know the 2022 BMW 750i

The 2022 BMW 750i is everything a driver could hope for in a top-of-the-line full-size luxury sedan. It offers drivers a generous interior space and is crafted with high-quality materials. Whether taking a vacation or tooling around town, drivers will love this all-wheel-drive sedan that comfortably seats five passengers.

Basics About the 2022 BMW 750i

The BMW 750i is a full-size luxury sedan and a member of the royalty of the BMW line. The current generation of the 7 Series was introduced by BMW in 2016. It received a refresh in 2020. Considered to be a comfortable as well as spacious cruiser, it offers drivers a limo-like luxury.

New/Unique Features

With the refresh in 2020, there were no major changes made to the 750i in 2022. BMW did make the remote-control parking feature a stand-alone option. This feature allows drivers to back up their BMW 750i when others park too close. This eliminates the need to try and squeeze into the driver’s seat or go through the passenger side. It is a standard feature on all 7 Series models.

Interior

The hallmark of the 750i is the impressive material quality of its interior. There is high-quality quilted leather on just about every surface. The cabin is spacious and relaxing with plenty of luxury features. The 18-cubic-foot trunk offers two additional cubic feet not available in any of its competitors.

Infotainment System

Like many of the features on the BMW 750i, the infotainment system has its own special name: iDrive 7.0. This system offers two different USB ports for use by front passengers. Four 12-volt plugs are scattered throughout the interior. Bluetooth is a standard feature while a Samsung tablet dock between the rear seats is optional. Although Apple CarPlay is available; Android Auto is not.

Technical Specifications

From a driving assistance professional package to a solid engine, the 750i is a powerful and sure driving machine. With driving assistance, drivers can use the semi-automatic driving mode during traffic jams. The twin turbocharged V-8 offers 523 horsepower. An 8-speed automatic transmission comes with a manual shifting mode. All-wheel drive, called xDrive by BMW, is standard in all the 7 Series cars except for the 740i.

Safety

Many of the safety features available on the 7 Series BMW, called Active Driving Assistant, are standard features. These driver assistance features include blind-spot monitoring as well as semi-autonomous self-steering highway cruise control. Pedestrian detection, combined with an automated emergency braking system helps avoid city hazards. Lane-keeping assist and a lane-departure warning help drivers avoid the most common accident easily.
