See Why Drivers Love the 2023 BMW M3

The 2023 BMW M3 is the latest edition of one of BMW’s most popular series of sedans. With an intense amount of power under the hood, modern safety technology, and luxurious and convenient interior options, there’s a lot to love about the newest version of the M3.

Meet the BMW M3

The M3 is powered by a twin-turbo 3L inline-six-cylinder and is paired with a six-speed manual transmission to produce 473 horsepower. With the Competition-level trim, this same engine with an eight-speed automatic is tuned to produce 503 horsepower in RWD, with an option for AWD.

Both versions of the engine produce a dynamic, high-performance feel on the road, and have access to several pre-set drive modes to further customize your engine to favor performance, efficiency, or comfort.  Switching to performance-focused drive modes will also change the interior digital gauge display to provide easier-to-read readouts of the engine’s performance, including the tachometer and gear-shift indicator.

What’s New for 2023?

The updates to the M3 2023 edition are mainly focused on the interior. A new digital instrument panel is curved to angle towards the driver. Additionally, the built-in dashcam is now available as a standalone option and the gesture controls that were previously available as an option in previous model years have been removed entirely.

Features to Ask Your BMW Dealer About

Modern Technology

The center console’s core feature is the large 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment display that has secondary tactile controls to make it easier to adjust while driving. The M3 comes standard with a year-long subscription to SiriusXM, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, as well as a premium Harman Kardon sound system. Available upgrades of note include a wireless charging pad and a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot.

Beyond the convenience features, the M3 also has several safety features that help prevent collisions on the road, including standard blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, front collision warning, automatic brake assist, and front and rear parking sensors.

Comprehensive Coverage

BMW’s reputation for reliability and durability is backed up by its generous standard warranty coverage. All new M3s are covered under a general limited warranty for four years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, while the powertrain is covered under its own warranty for the same amount of time and distance. In addition, the body of your car is protected against rust and perforation for 12 years with no mileage limit.

Beyond the general warranty protection, all scheduled maintenance is complimentary for new M3s for three years or 36,000 miles, reducing your maintenance costs and the risk of mechanical issues in the first few years of ownership.
