The insurance institute of Highway Safety has named the all-new 2016 BMW X1 a “Top Safety Pick+”, the institute’s highest accolade. This brand new adaptive driver aid detects when a crash is imminent, slowing the speed of your vehicle as much as possible before impact in order to mitigate as much damage as possible. Additional features including Dynamic Stability and Traction Controls, Brake Assist, Cornering Brake Control, and Lane Departure Warning systems all bolster the high standards for safety that BMW has for the X1, and its other vehicles.
