All-New BMW 330e iPerformance

The 330e iPerformance plug-in hybrid car adds another dimension to the highly respected BMW 3-series lineup by offering the renowned four-cylinder, TwinPower Turbo technology-powered engine—the two-time International Engine of the Year award winner—plus an electric motor. The 330e iPerformance sedan will be capable of putting out 248 HP and 310 lb.-ft. of torque.

Imagine being able to sprint from 0-60 MPH in 5.9 seconds or achieve an all-electric range of 14 miles in a German-engineered performance sedan. The BMW 330e iPerformance plug-in hybrid truly allows drivers to adjust their drive to their exact wants and needs, all the while achieving excellent fuel economy and sporty handling, thanks in part to the eight-speed Steptronic Sport Automatic transmission with shift paddles.

Choose between three e-Drive programs when you’re behind the wheel with the touch of a button: AUTO eDRIVE, MAX eDRIVE, and SAVE BATTERY.

• Auto eDRIVE mode enables a pure-electric top speed of 50 MPH, and is the default setting to optimize the engine and electric motor.
• MAX eDRIVE mode uses electric power only, allowing for up to 14 miles of zero-emissions driving. The top speed is 75 MPH, and the gas-powered engine can activate whenever a burst is needed.
• SAVE BATTERY mode conserves the battery power by “freezing” it if it’s over 50 percent, or charging it up to 50 percent to prepare for the upcoming journey.
