BMW Announces First App Integrations for Android Devices

Do you like listening to your favorite tunes and discovering new music using online streaming services? BMW has announced its plans to integrate iHeartRadio, Spotify, and Pandora with BMW Apps, so Android users can liven up any commute or everyday drive with customizable radio.

Fayetteville, NC area drivers can use the BMW iDrive system, currently found in the cabin of the 2016 BMW 7 Series sedan, and their Android smartphones to access streaming radio during any drive. In addition, BMW will continue their strong partnership with iOS app partners to integrate with Apple iPhones. App integration for other vehicle models will follow.

• Pandora with BMW Apps for Android gives users the power to create new stations using the iDrive Controller, rate and bookmark songs, and use Pandora intuitively to cut down on driver distraction.
